Medical Education Sales Representative (Ref: 102)
The Medical Education Sales Representative is responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for Medical Education Programs in an assigned territory, or in a list of named accounts or both.
Essential Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Accountable to achieve Product/Solutions/Service orders and sales target for assigned accounts and or territory.
- Forecast orders and sales
Territory & Account Management
- Create territory/account plans including opportunity development
- Build strong business relationships with key accounts and decision makers
- Maintain customer contact records in the relevant CRM tools.
- Maintain a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.
- Track competitor data and develop effective counter-plans.
Product & Market Expertise:
- Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of product/solution/services.
- Present and discuss the clinical benefits in terms which are relevant to HCPs.
- Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to product/solutions/services.
- Understanding of the customers’ needs and challenges.
- Differentiate assigned product offering during the various stages of the sales process.
- Represent the company at relevant medical conferences and exhibitions to promote product/solution and company.
Opportunity management
- Identify and create new opportunities and work with sales managers and team
- Create and maintain opportunities in the applicable sales funnel tool and/ or CRM tools.
- Configuration quality of sales orders at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.
- Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the customer delivery schedules ensuring fulfillment of the order is according to customer expectations and enhances customer satisfaction.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education / Knowledge:
- Medical degree with 2 years Medical Representative experience at pharmaceutical companies
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent negotiation & closing skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Able to travel
- Valid motor vehicle license
- Standard skill on Microsoft Office software packages
