Senior Director, GCC Sales For Multinational Bio-Pharmaceutical Company
Reports to: General Manager , (MENA\SSA)
Location: Will be resident in Jeddah-KSA
Principal Responsibilities
Responsible for achieving area GCC Sales performance targets.
Develop and execute area and regional sales plans.
Assembles talented team and is actively involved in the area staffing of Regional Sales Managers and Regional Account Managers
Actively reviews performance metrics with Review performance with Sales Managers to ensure Sales Team is achieving maximum sales results from their assigned territories.
Collaborate closely with the Marketing Teams to impact Marketing Plans
Responsible for driving the Marketing Plan by driving key tactics with The Company Four Strategic Imperatives. (Identifying Patients, Generating Demand, Creating Access, and Supporting Appropriate Utilization)
Oversees handling of key accounts and provides a high level disease, diagnostics, and product expertise and ensures customer service to all accounts.
Creates, builds and maintains relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in partnership with Marketing and Medical Affairs
Ensures operational systems are in place, enables RSMs to evaluate regional and territory sales activity and results. to track and evaluate Tracks and evaluates regional, and territory sales activities/results
Collaborate closely with Case Management and Customer Operations to drive Company STAR team approach to meeting customer’s needs.
Establish and maintain positive attitude, constructive communication and transparency within his/her team and various stakeholders.
Responsible for leading co-leading and facilitating GCC Sales Meetings including with Executive Management.
Manage the annual budget for the area and regional GCC Sales Team.
Oversee the activities under his/her responsibilities are in line with the company policies and procedures, including Company Compliance Policy.
Execute and oversees Regional Quarterly Business Reviews and participates in the Quarterly Executive Business Reviews.
Collaborates cross functionally with global sales, marketing, marketing operations, sales training, business analytics, market research.. with Global Sales and Marketing Operations on Sales Training, Business Analytics, Sales Compensation Plans, Alignments, and Market Research.
Lead, teach, coach, motivate and inspire the Sales Management Team.
Ensure appropriate leadership and development of his/her team: define clear objectives, allocate resources, monitor activities, allocate fair rewards and sales incentive plans, provide developmental opportunities, develop strong employee development plans, etc.
Conducts, semi-annual performance reviews to provide accurate and timely feedback regarding sales goal attainment and professional development. May include corrective counseling and performance improvement planning.
Qualifications
Education : Pharmaceutical Science Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA Degree.
Proven track record of Employee Development & Performance Management
Minimum of 10 years biopharmaceutical industry Saudi Arabia experience
Extensive experience leading Manager-level staff and above and delivering results in KSA
Experience in specialty sales, with hematology/oncology/nephrology/transplant/hospital or orphan drug in KSA .
Demonstrated successful experience with significantly expanding existing sales teams.
Broad cross-functional experience in other commercial roles, such as Marketing, Sales Operations, Medical, National/Corporate Accounts, Managed Markets, Hospital Markets, etc.
Experience with launching a biopharmaceutical required.
Demonstrates strong history of leadership and teamwork that has resulted in significant accomplishments within an organization.
Ability to travel within GCC on a regular basis which may include overnight and/or weekend travel.
