For our manufacturing facility which is located at Badr City – Cairo, we are seeking a high caliber professional to join as Production Planning Manager.

Description

Plans and schedules various work centers for production that will require a single piece demand flow as well as batch processing of parts with long process times; actively partners with Sales, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving to communicate forecasts, support documentation, delivery status and throughput performance.

• Develops capacity plans, forecasts and overall scheduling.
• Implements production schedules
• Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales, production, or engineering.
• Communicates with plant personnel and vendors to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
• Reviews and reports out daily Production Metrics and realigns complex work cells to meet or exceed Production Goals to include streamlining any processes.
• Understands the impact that planned maintenance and break downs have on Production and includes the information when managing schedules.
• Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
• Adheres to and promotes all company safety rules and requirements and attends required training and/or meetings.
• Supports the Supply Chain in placing orders for raw materials, forging, machining, etc. to ensure launch schedules are met.
• Reviews weekly launch schedule to ensure on-time delivery of process routers.
• Creates part numbers and assist in asset tracking mechanism for serialized components.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Manages Outwork PO writing and managing vendors.
• Prepare reports required to facilitate and suggest actions to assure optimal execution of supply chain.
• Supervise company stability, oversee reasons to schedule changes and ensure root causes for volatility of schedule being resolved.
• Monitor continuously all problem inventory, take advantage of conversion opportunities if any and recommend solutions for scrapping and potential.
• Head responsibility to achieve and sustain adherence to company rules associated with Master Scheduling.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
