Medical Sales Rep is the link between the pharmaceutical company and healthcare professionals; promoting assigned products and reaching sales targets respectfully by implementing the agenda set by the Sales and Marketing Department.
- Achieve topline sales targets and goals as per assigned products.
- Learn and maintain an adequate level of medical and technical knowledge.
- Learn and maintain a significant level of product knowledge regarding their assigned products and the company profile overall.
- Conduct and document calls as per plan put together with direct manager; meanwhile identify and report specific needs to strengthen relationship with existing/new customers.
- Monitor competitor’s products, selling and promotional activities and gather current market information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, promoting techniques, and etc.
- Promote to current and potential customers the assigned products by delivering presentations to doctors, pharmacists and other potential customers as per PharmaAccess’ standard guidelines.
- Identify new physicians, medicals centers, accounts or pharmacies to enable early enlisting.
- Coordinate with all the stakeholders to prepare and finalize a plan for any conference/ promotional event for recommended group of physicians in their respective area.
- Follow up for the delivery of pending orders and ensure product availability.
- Accountable for any sales returns or expired goods returned from their assigned territory and accounts
- Maintain compliance to medical/ethical guidelines including pharmacovigilance.
Criteria for applying:
- Holding of Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience*
- Good command of English language
- Excellent relevant market knowledge
- Saudi national residing in Jeddah
*preferably with previous experience as Medical Sales Representative or similar roles
