Job Description

Accountabilities to Business Head,

Maximizes revenue and market share in the proposed country regions  by driving sales activity, providing leadership to the field force and exploring new sales channels for the LPO business.

Responsibilities:
– Translates Company affiliate and brand strategy into regional plans.
– Analyses the sales performance of the relevant brands in the territory and identifies key levers for action.
– Keeps business unit team informed of any market changes / competitor activity relevant to strategy implementation and development.
– Ensures execution of the Marketing/Commercial tactics by development of territory plans (Plan Of Actions) with team members.

-Supports the team members on external key customer visits on frequent basis.

– Manages approved budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of resources to meet the plan and financial control
– Plans, allocates and monitors team expenses budget to ensure budgetary control.
– Tracks progress of marketing messages and programs.
– Monitors implementation of plan of actions throughout sales cycles and ensures budget spend within agreed time, costs, compliance and quality parameters.
– Monitors, evaluates and acts on field force metrics and standards to maximize sales force effectiveness from a quantitative and qualitative perspective.
– Builds a high performing sales team by recruiting and selecting candidates and effectively on-boarding new hires.
– Coaches and motivates team members to achieve/exceed territory goals and optimise individual and team engagement.
– Conducts annual and ongoing performance reviews and capability assessment within the framework of performance management process.
– Develop individual team members to continuously improve overall level of performance in their role and for future development.
– Conducts district sales meetings to guide team.

Minimum Requirements:

-Governmental Sales experience is a must (min. 5 years in Saudi Arabia).
– Previous pharmaceutical Sales Management experience required (min. 2 years specialist rep sales management), in major pharmaceutical environment.
– Willing to travel to remote territories.
– Proven track record in sales at manager level.
– Demonstrated leadership abilities.
– Experience with computer systems.
– Fluent English, both in oral and written communication.
– Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Requirements:
– Experience in selling non-registered products is a plus.
– 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience (Marketing, Sales, Key Account Management etc.).
– Experience with product launches in a highly competitive market.
– Experience in building a highly effective team during launch.
– Experience in driving execution and results.
– Experience in interacting with various disciplines and organizational levels.
– Experience in project management & strategic planning.
