Medical Research Associate

Job Description:

  •  The responsibility of a Medical Research Associate (MRA) is to perform the Marketing monitoring aspect of designated projects.
  • Responsibilities include performing medical marketing on-site monitoring activities (drive physicians, pharmacist & patient recruitment, source data verification & data collection).
  • Face to face interviews with selected targets of Doctors, Pharmacy & Patients.
  • Shows solid understanding of therapeutic indications and study hypothesis.
  • Act as an independent MRA Coordinator on complex or multiple projects
  • Represent function in external client meetings and presentations such as investigator meetings and bid defenses as required.
  • Build relationships with Physicians and site staff
     

Qualifications:

 

  1. 1.     Strong computer and internet skills including knowledge of MS-Office products such as Excel, Word
  2. 2.      Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  3. 3.      Carefully weighs the priority of project tasks and directs team accordingly
  4. 4.     Enlists the support of team members in meetings goals
  5. 5.     Ability to successfully work in a team environment
  6. 6.     Sound presentation skills
  7. 7.     Ability to make appropriate decisions in ambiguous situations
  8. 8.     Ability to solve problems by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
  9. 9.     Client focused approach to work with the ability to interact professionally within a client organization
  10. 10.  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and achieve project timelines
  11. 11.  Effective time management in order to meet daily metrics or team objectives
  12. 12.  Shows commitment to and performs consistently high quality work
  13. 13.  Able to take initiative and work independently
  14. 14.  Able to travel up to 50% on average

Education
Educated to degree level (biological science, pharmacy or other health-related discipline preferred)

Language Skills
1. Competent in written and oral English

2. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft® Office
