Alzheimer’s Disease is a

-disease that slowly destroys a person’s memory until the person dies

-from forgetting how to perform basic functions like swallowing or breathing.

-Alzheimer’s Disease is not a normal part of aging.

-There is no known cause for Alzheimer’s disease

– and even though we are not able to cure it there are medications that can be taken to relieve the patient of some of the symptoms.

– It is named after Alois Alzheimer, who discovered the disease in 1906. There are, however,

– certain lifestyle habits that can be adopted to delay the onset of the disease.
