A MULTINATIONAL BIOTECH MARKET LEADER company requires for its MENA region operation:

REGIONAL SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT

Responsibilities:  Mainly for Saudi Arabia with some responsibilities in the MENA region

Location: To be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Preferred qualifications:

• Physician or Pharmacist
• Previous experience in Medical or Scientific Liaison departments in the pharmaceutical field in Saudi Arabia
• Knowledge of the neurology theraputic areas
• Excellent English Language skills and presentation skills is a must
• Preferably with transferable Iqama

Job Criteria:

• Act as the connection between the company products and its end users to bring the latest research and knowledge of therapeutic specialties to the people who manage the related therapeutic areas.
• Conduct one-on-one meetings with physicians, participate in panel discussions or address large groups.
• Interact with scientific research departments to gain expert knowledge of products, and have in-depth knowledge about the medical conditions these products are intended to treat.
• Act as conveyor of information about new research developments, clinical trial activities and therapeutic approaches.
• Attending conferences and talks and presenting information to product teams assisting in marketing the company products to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Work intensively with people – Internally and externally- at every step of the therapeutic product development process and translate dense, academic information into engaging, persuasive messages.
• Provide ongoing medical training to Associates and Sales Representatives.
• Represent the company via presentations to groups of experts, societies, regulatory bodies and at international meetings.
• Assist with the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan, advertising, promotional and sales campaigns
• Providing the sales team with the necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves design and implementation of both printed and electronic promotional material, planning and conduction of needed trainings and follow up on promotional campaigns implementation.
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with local government regulations.
