Senior Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager

A new established Retail Healthcare Industry Firm in Cairo Egypt, operating three business lines – Pharmacy, Nutrition and Total Wellness both in its physical shops and eCommerce site. We are planning for an extensive growth program & we are looking for qualified and innovative talented Pharmacists to join our success from its early beginnings.
Job Description:
Responsible for providing all customers with a safe, legal and effective pharmaceutical service. At all times, the best considering the best interests of the patient and advice given should be professional while supporting sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure delivery of customer service by greeting customer, understanding their needs, meeting their expectation and closing the sale.
2. Receive prescriptions from patients, assess and inform the patient the duration for completing the prescription and the availability of the medicines.
3. Dispense prescription accurately and on time to meet customer expectations ensuring the customer receives all required information on the dispensed medicines. Hand out to the customer dispensed medication.
4. Supervise and Check prescriptions prepared by colleagues working the pharmacy for accuracy before they are handed over to the customer.
5. Effective over the counter prescribing to ensure the recommended products are suitable for the customer. Conduct necessary questioning to gather as much information as possible and recommend further medical assistance where necessary.
6. Complete necessary self-development exercises to ensure up to date knowledge of pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses.
7. Develop and build relationships with local doctors/ other health care professionals as needed by the unit towards business building measures.
8. Ensure Patient counseling, rapport building measures while always respecting the need for patient confidentiality
9. Ensure delivery of all operating policy and procedures, ethics and adherence to Regulatory requirements.
10. Maintain all records required by the External local authorities in Egypt.
11. Identify, implement and share Best Practice following consultation with the Management.
12. Comply with all security and loss prevention procedures to prevent stock or cash loss from the business.
13. Process Insurance “Whenever the service is available” on time and correctly to ensure customer satisfaction while avoiding rejections.
Skills
Qualification: Post Graduation / Graduation in Pharmacy. Experience: Minimum 4 years’ retail pharmacy experience. Nasr City market experience is an added value.

Generic Skills: Good Communication Skills and Interpersonal Skills / Work Flexibility / Problem Solving / Bilingual (Arabic & English).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, any higher post graduate certificates in clinical pharmacy or business administration are preferred.
