• Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefing.
• Making appointments to see existing clients and potential new customers.
• Presenting products to clients.
• Persuading clients to buy your company’s products.
• Providing an after-sales service.
• Meeting sales targets.
• Organizing or attending medical conferences.
• Monitoring competitor activity and competitor’s products.
• Working with team managers to plan how to approach contacts effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.
• Keeping records of sales and customers.
• Reporting information back to head office about customer needs.
• Keeping up to date with the latest clinical data and research.

Educational and Training Requirements:

• Employers prefer graduates with relevant qualifications in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, veterinary, science or dentistry.
