POSITION SUMMARY
- Lead the deductions analysis, root cause, corrective actions, and group discussions till the denial issue resolved.
- Research and resolve insurance billing issues at the time of claims notice period ,
- Receipt of denial or non-contracted payment, and refund requests.
- Represent the hospital in all claims issues related to deductions to insurance companies
- Interact daily with all stakeholders including but not limited to insurance companies, clinic and hospital personnel, and patients.
- Maintain current assigned insurance(s) guidelines, policies, contracts and procedures related to payment of claims.
- Will be expected to communicate this information to various areas of the organization on a requested basis.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent interpersonal, Negotiation and analytical skills.
- Basic working knowledge of the MS Office
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical collections, ICD-9 and CPT coding is preferred.
- Experience from 2-5 in healthcare insurance companies ( Hospital area is preferable )
