Job Title: CNS District Manager

Job Summary

To achieve agreed sales, productivity and performance targets for the area through leadership, management, direction and coaching of the medical promotion team.

Major accountabilities:

To meet or exceed sales targets (market share/market share growth) within agreed budgets and timescales – through effective leadership of the medical promotion team.

To achieve agreed contact, coverage and frequency targets through face to face and meetings and manage delivery of customer centric activities with all primary and secondary care customers – within operating budget.

To ensure negotiation and effective implementation of annual sales contracts with agreed Rx customers including enlisting of Inspire brands across Rx formularies.

Manage operating expenses within agreed budgets through effective monitoring and reporting systems in addition to ensuring that expenditures do not exceed agreed budgets.

To ensure effective management of medical promotion team including training and personal development in terms of ongoing training, coaching and counselling through regular field visits and management of recruitment, performance, development and retention of representatives in the area through quality processes – working in conjunction and support from sales training and HR departments.

To ensure the relevant knowledge and understanding of Inspire priority products, technical information, product strategy, positioning, key messages and programmes amongst medical promotion team.

To implement with excellence the sales and marketing campaigns adhering to the relevant Codes of Practice/regulations.

To ensure effective communication which reflects leadership, focus, direction and motivation of medical promotion team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Medical Background (Pharmacy/ Medicine/Veterinary )
  2. At least 2 years’ experience as a district manager in multinational pharmaceutical company.
  3. Fluency in English language Written/Spoken is a must.
  4. Strong presentation skills demonstrated in AVA successful  management
  5. Enthusiastic, hardworking & Self-Motivated
  6. Result Oriented with an  excellent YTD and prior year Performance
  7. Demonstrated exceptional Problem Solving Skills;  strong Key account Management and an ability to learn through progressive development with his/her superior
  8. MBA or ongoing post-graduate marketing degree is an asset
