A newly established pharmaceutical company operates in UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt is seeking a high caliber Finance Manager for its Egypt operation based in Cairo.

The prospective candidate core responsibilities are:

• Play pivotal role in the financial planning process
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process top down and bottom up
• Contribute to the pricing structure strategy of different products in coordination with the commercial team
• Monitor receivable and payables against set timelines
• Prepare monthly management accounts for the organization and stock aging, including variance analysis and reports to concerned members
•  Prepare monthly cash flow for the organization and report on variances to budget
•  Agree operational KPI’s and report them on a timely manner
•  Undertake audit visits to depots ensuring correct use of donor funds as and when required
•  Ad hoc reporting to the board as required
•  Maintain Asset Register
•  Supervise bank reconciliations, petty cash, and expenses
•  Assist in preparing yearly budgeting and cash flow forecasts
•  Maintain and update accounting and financial records as appropriate

Personal Specification:

Skills

• Ideal candidates will have a formal accountancy qualification from a recognized accountancy body or a minimum of five years experience in a similar role
• Excellent Excel and MS office skills

Experience

• Working with a structured and methodical approach to tasks and have the ability to identify risks and recommend actions to mitigate these
• A proven track record of building and developing effective working relationships, excellent communication and good problem-solving skills
• Previous work experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is a definite plus
• Excellent communication – both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Self-motivated and pro-active in seeking out answers
